Are we predicting ourselves into extinction? All this rush to feed only AI/ML/Data-Driven predictions to people, whether it’s news feeds or retail product offerings/stocking decisions, it encourages perfecting the alignment of what comes next with past observed happenings. And as such, wouldn’t what naturally random occurrences of out-of-normness disappear from what appear in front of us and our activities become more brainless? And doesn’t this fundamentally prevent evolution?
